S51: The S10 with a spoke wheel.

Double treadle (W): The spinning wheels S10 W and S51 W have a double treadle system: very much like a bicycle, your feet go in opposite directions. It allows for light and relaxed two feet treading.

S75 DT: This wheel is all of solid unlacquered beech and only available with a double treadle (W).

The S90 differs at a few points from the other wheels. It is made of lacquered birch plywood. It is foldable and fits in a box of 75x51x16cm. The spinning ratios are 1:6,5, 1:9,5 and 1:15. The lazy kate consists of 3 bobbins. An optional foldable skein winder can be attached to the wheel.

S45: A new remarkable Lou・ spinning wheel, visually as well as technically. The design challenge for this wheel was "compact and easy to handle". Yes we also would like a 1:20 ratio for this wheel. Much faster than our regular wheels, as well as most wheels on the market. Since a large wheel, needed for a fast ratio, would not give a compact construction, we choose for an acceleration wheel. The higher speed of the small flywheel makes the S45 treadle easily, just like you are used to with our other wheels. We made this wheel out of Hard Maple, and finished it with a medium gloss water based lacquer. By relocating the polyurethane drive band on the back of the wheel you can change the ratio's: 1:7, 1:12, 1:20
